Biodiversity Guardians of Hawke's Bay invite you to a fun filled family day of education and engagement in our beautiful big backyard.
Meet our local eco-gems, discover the wonders of our natural environment and catch up on the biodiversity buzz.
We are so excited to bring you our first Biodiversity Forum, BIO BUZZ, hosted on the beautiful Aramoana Coast in Central Hawke's Bay.
Enjoy our biodiversity alphabet: Aramoana, Birds, Creeks, Dunes, Estuaries and Freshwater Fish as we hear from local experts, explore the interconnected coastal ecosystems and see what's under the microscope in the science section.
Hawke's Bay Regional Council have kindly put a bus on from Napier (8am departure at HBRC office in Dalton St) with pick-ups in Hastings so city folk can share a ride to the coast. People travelling in their own vehicle can meet us at 9.45am at the Aramoana Environmental & Education Charitable Trust Woolshed for a cuppa before we kick off at 10am.
Register today by emailing our project manager projectmanager@biodiversityhb.org - please let us know if you want to be on the bus, how many people and your preferred pick up stop.
The Bio Buzz is part of 'The Spring Fling' - a series of standout events that capture the essence of springtime in Central Hawke’s Bay.
