We are very pleased to have Evelyn Ratima, QSM, join as a Trustee of the Biodiversity Hawke’s Bay Trust.
Evelyn has a lifetime of service to her people and to Hawke’s Bay.
Evelyn is a Trustee and Treasurer of Tangoio Marae, an active member of Te Tira Toitū te Whenua, the Hastings District Plan Cultural Values Subcommittee, and the Hastings District Council Māori Joint Committee. She has also been key in the restoration of Te Karamu at Whakatu, along with her late husband Des.
Evelyn joins current trustees Charles Daugherty (Chair), James Buwalda, Mike Halliday, Natalie de Burgh, Dr Nic Peet, Alice Tregunna and Mark Ericksen.
